Our Bread & Extras Program is designed to assist families needing minimal assistance with food insecurity, no questions asked! There are 2 weekly drop-in times available to pick up bread and other food items we have in excess. Excess foods will vary from week to week. Bread will always be available.
Drop-In Times are:
Every Wednesday morning from 10:00 until 12:00 noon
Every Saturday morning from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon
You are welcome to park in the “Reserved for Food Bank” parking by the warehouse doors. Please enter through the back door, and ensure the person before you has left. Home delivery is not available for this program and you MUST BRING YOUR OWN BAGS.
Bakery items for Bread & Extras are generously donated through the Chestermere COBS “End of Day” program.
Fresh and frozen foods are generously donated by Poplar Bluff Organics, Food Mesh and Second Harvest food rescue programs.
