The successful operation of a food bank requires community-wide effort. Through partnerships with local organizations, businesses, schools and residents, we hope to provide adequate nutrition for those in need in our community.
The Chestermere Regional Food Bank has been in operation since 2006 and is run by a group of dedicated volunteers. As the demand for the Food Bank increases, so does the need to expand our volunteer base.
The Food Bank serves the City of Chestermere and the surrounding rural areas. Client referrals are received from the City of Chestermere Community Services and at times, local churches, businesses, and schools.
