About Christmas with Dignity
The Christmas with Dignity (CWD) fund helps local individuals and families to meet their basic needs all year long. Although ‘Christmas’ is in the name and the majority of the funds are used during the holiday season, donations can be accessed at any time throughout the year when families in the community need assistance.
Children’s Holiday Store
Chestermere residents can take their kids to Chestermere City Hall to get a hand picking out Christmas gifts for their family members while supporting a good cause.
The 9th annual Kids’ Holiday Store will take place on December 15 and the funds raised will be donated to the Christmas with Dignity program.
The Kids’ Holiday Store will include musical entertainment and a Christmas with Dignity café where guests can purchase a warm drink or snack, with proceeds going to the Christmas with Dignity program.
Kids will be matched with an elf who will help them choose and wrap their presents. Each gift is $5.00 and the proceeds go directly into the fund.
Donations of items for the store can be made at City Hall.
