This event is a fun fundraiser and celebration of the season! In addition to the pumpkins, other activities will include a story time tent and a colouring table. There will also be hot dogs and juice or hot chocolate for the kids and coffee for the adults all of which is provided free.
Each pumpkin costs $10 with the all the funds going to the club.
The money raised at the Pumpkin patch are added to the Lion’s club funds. The club keeps the money in the community, spending it in support of community groups and events. The Chestermere Lions Club has in the past donated to the food bank, recreation centre and other community projects.
Any pumpkins left at the end of the event will be donated to the Chestermere Regional Food Bank.
Come out and support our local Artisans at the 25th annual Crazy 4 Crafts Show. Admission is a donation to the Chestermere Food Bank.

About Christmas with Dignity
The Christmas with Dignity (CWD) fund helps local individuals and families to meet their basic needs all year long. Although ‘Christmas’ is in the name and the majority of the funds are used during the holiday season, donations can be accessed at any time throughout the year when families in the community need assistance.
Children’s Holiday Store
Chestermere residents can take their kids to Chestermere City Hall to get a hand picking out Christmas gifts for their family members while supporting a good cause.
The 9th annual Kids’ Holiday Store will take place on December 15 and the funds raised will be donated to the Christmas with Dignity program.
The Kids’ Holiday Store will include musical entertainment and a Christmas with Dignity café where guests can purchase a warm drink or snack, with proceeds going to the Christmas with Dignity program.
Kids will be matched with an elf who will help them choose and wrap their presents. Each gift is $5.00 and the proceeds go directly into the fund.
Donations of items for the store can be made at City Hall.
